Counselling Skills for the Workplace

 

This training course has been designed for those with key management or human resource accountabilities such as employee relations, coaching, interviewing, performance management and appraisals.

We can also tailor this course to be delivered to non-managerial staff.

During this 1 day course, one of direction’s expert trainers will help your people develop the skills and techniques to communicate with impact and strengthen relationships.

  • Understand and practice the skills required to be an effective listener.
  • Recognise the different interpretations of non-verbal communication.
  • Understand and recognise the barriers that can affect listening.
  • Develop the ability to deal sensitively and effectively with difficult situations.
  • Understand how working with and learning from others brings value to your own personal development and knowledge.

 

All of our training provides a combination of theory with practical group and individual exercises. All attendees with receive course booklets, a completion certificate and follow up communication with relevant resources and information to help them continue with their personal development.
