Mental Health First Aid

This two day course is designed to help your team members build a better understanding of common mental health issues and how best to address these in the workplace.


Course contents:
  • Recognising common mental health conditions.
  • Identify the early stages of mental health difficulties, in self and others.
  • Understanding the factors that can instigate mental health conditions, at work and outside of work.
  • Build confidence when starting a conversation with someone who they recognise may be having mental health difficulties.
  • Recognise and respond to attitudes and stigma around mental health issues.
  • Know what procedures your organisation has in place to support people experiencing difficulties.
  • Know what steps to take to support someone and guide them towards getting help whilst keeping themselves safe.
  • Understand the importance and perimeters of confidentiality.


All of our training provides a combination of theory with practical group and individual exercises. All attendees with receive course booklets, a completion certificate and follow up communication with relevant resources and information to help them continue with their personal development.
