Counselling Skills – HR and Managers

Develop the skills to communicate with impact and strengthen relationships.

This special training session has been designed for those with key human resource accountabilities such as employee relations, coaching, interviewing, performance management and appraisals.

Over the course of a day, your expert trainer will help your people develop the skills and techniques to communicate with impact and strengthen relationships.

A separate training session can also be tailored for non-managerial staff to cover communication and relationship-building techniques.

The session is designed to enable each participant to:

  • Understand and practice the skills required to be an effective listener.
  • Recognise the different interpretations of non-verbal communication.
  • Understand and recognise the barriers that can affect listening.
  • Developed the ability to deal sensitively and effectively with difficult situations.
  • Gain a greater understanding of others and themselves.
  • Understand how working with and learning from others brings value to your own personal development and knowledge.
