Have you experienced a life change that has, or still is, impacting on you?

For example you may have had a relationship break up, suffered a loss, gone through a job/career change, become a parent/carer, been diagnosed with an illness or experienced a bereavement.

Sometimes these big life changes can leave you feeling exhausted, drained, unhappy, lonely, stressed, defeated or without purpose.

When we undergo a significant change or upset in life our natural reaction at first is often to avoid, ignore or push it away which causes further suffering and ‘Compassion Fatigue’.

How can we turn that around?

We can manage our suffering and the suffering of others by becoming aware of when we are reacting to the upset and pain and learn to transform this reaction into a compassionate, caring response.

What is compassion and why do we need it?

Compassion is the understanding and desire to alleviate or reduce suffering; that may be for yourself or for others. Setting an intention to be kind towards ourselves and let go of reacting is what helps us to connect with compassion.

What to expect:

This retreat day will give you the tools and techniques to transform yourself from having ‘Compassion Fatigue’ to being a ‘Compassion Warrior’ restoring and increasing your strength and energy.

Throughout the day we will so some soothing mindful practices, gentle yoga stretches and Qigong to tap into your inner strength. Don’t worry if you have never tried any of these before, we’ve designed it to be suitable for beginners and all levels.

I appreciate you might feel apprehensive and vulnerable about spending time discussing your own life challenges, that’s totally normal, but trust me you’re in safe hands as I will provide a safe place for you to share and learn.

I understand that committing time for yourself won’t be easy, but taking this day just for you will genuinely change your life for the better. It won’t make life’s challenges go away but by restoring your energy levels and showing you the positive effects of self-compassion and kindness, you’ll take the first steps to making a real transformation.

Cancellation Policy: All bookings are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of £20 (per place).
21 days’ notice is required if you wish to cancel you place. You will be refunded via the original payment method used, minus the non-refundable admin fee. Transfers to another workshop are not possible.
