Group counselling and psychotherapy

Giving all group members a chance to freely express their feelings and concerns.

Group counselling and psychotherapy allows you and colleagues or family members to explore stressful situations, conflicts or communication difficulties in a safe, neutral environment.

No matter your particular situation, your dedicated direction therapist will help set objectives and boundaries for the sessions, giving all group members the chance to freely express their feelings and concerns in an unthreatening atmosphere.

Group members can explore how events in their past may have impacted on their current behaviour and relationships, and seek resolutions which all members can agree to.

Within work groups, your therapist will act as a facilitator to improve team dynamics, motivation and group behaviour, or work through a difficulty such as redundancy, bereavement, poor team dynamics or family disputes.

If you would like to consider how group counselling might work for your circumstances, contact direction and we can discuss your requirements.

“Our therapist helped us face a long-standing family issue in a way that defused conflict and enabled us to come to a much better, shared understanding.”
