Continuous Professional Development - Open Courses 2006

All our courses are led by highly experienced trainers and are backed up by course booklets, group and individual practical exercises. A certificate is given to participants for recognition of course attendance and a free 30 minute follow-up consultation is offered to course participants to re-evaluate and review course work, if required. We will also provide refreshments and lunch within course costs.

An insightful course which is designed for people who would like to develop their emotional connection and intimacy with others. We will look at the barriers that limit intimate relationships and people will be given tools to enable them in having more of a connection with others. This course is will be valuable for anyone who wants to build on their relationships and make them more meaningful.

arrow Barriers to emotional intimacy
arrow Learning about trust
arrow How can we be ‘real’ and how will this help us develop our relationships

This skilful and informative one-day course is designed for people who would like to improve their listening skills to build on their professional working relationships with others in the key HRM accountabilities such as employee relations, behavioural coaching, networking, interviewing, performance management and appraisals.

After completing the course, participants will:

arrow Have an understanding and ability to recognise the skills of an effective listener
arrow Recognise the different interpretations of non-verbal communication
arrow Recognise barriers which can affect listening
arrow Have developed the ability to deal sensitively and effectively with difficult situations
